The job market lives in PDFs, group chats, and forwarded screenshots. Job-seekers waste hours searching, employers get noise instead of signal, and nobody trusts the data. The founders wanted to build an App-Store-grade mobile experience — searchable, location-aware, and built for both sides of the hire.
We designed the core loops in Figma — discover, apply, chat, hire — and prototyped them in week two. Native iOS in Swift/SwiftUI, native Android in Kotlin/Compose, and a Node + Postgres backend with realtime chat over WebSocket. We shipped the first TestFlight in week 5.
Amali launched on the App Store and Play Store with feature parity on both platforms. The core loop — search → apply → chat → interview — works in under 90 seconds. We continue to ship updates every two weeks, with crash-free sessions above 99.6%.
The app reduces job searching to a tight, mobile-native loop. Job-seekers and employers share the same surface — post a job or post yourself, Amali handles both sides.
Search jobs and talent from a single bar. Filter by role, city, salary, and work type. Nearby Jobs surface the closest matches instantly.
See open roles and available talent as pins on a live map. Switch between "Find a Job" and "Find an Employee" in one tap.
Upload your CV once and it follows your profile. Employers see a structured candidate page plus your PDF — no re-uploading per application.
Job-seekers and employers share the same surface. Post a job or post yourself — the UX stays consistent on both sides of the match.
Every company posting on Amali is manually verified. The signal-to-noise ratio is the whole product.
Once you apply, the recruiter is one tap away. Read receipts, typing indicators, push notifications — built on WebSocket.

We designed the App Store gallery alongside the product. Same blue, same typography, same mark. The copy and photography were crafted to land in the first three screens.
